Our Team
Kaylee Gao
Kaylee Gao holds dual degrees in Management and Economics from Peking University, as well as a Master’s in Finance. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Art History with a specialization in Contemporary Art at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. Kaylee is USPAP-compliant through July 18, 2024, and an associate candidate with the Appraisers Association of America. She specializes in appraisal services for Post-War, Contemporary, and Digital Art.
Tianyuan Deng (Ti Ti)
Tianyuan Deng (Ti Ti) holds a B.A. with honors in Art History from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in Art History and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University. Currently she is finishing her Ph.D. in Art History at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, with a specialization in Chinese modern art. Her translation of Thomas Crow’s “The Rise of the Sixties: American and European Art in the Era of Dissent” (Yale University Press, 1996) was published in China in 2020. Her writings have also appeared in publications such as Artforum, Art Agenda, LEAP, and OCULA. She is the recipient of the research grant awarded by the Metropolitan Center for Far Eastern Art Studies in Kyoto in 2021. She is also on the faculty at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she teaches Chinese contemporary art.
Julie Duanmu
Julie Duanmu holds a B.A. in Art History and an M.A. in Visual Arts Administration from New York University. Specializing in Chinese, Post-War, and Contemporary Art, she brings over five years of experience in both the non-profit sector and art business, including with China Guardian Auctions. Julie is USPAP-compliant through July 18, 2024, and an associate candidate with the Appraisers Association of America.
